湯子賢,1997年出生於臺灣,目前於國立臺灣藝術大學電影研究所攻讀碩士學位,專注於導演、劇本寫作及攝影。他以台灣獨特的文化背景與邊緣社群為核心進行電影創作。
他的作品曾入圍多個知名影展,包括平遙國際電影展、台北電影節與金穗獎。此外,他還榮獲新北市影像學生新星獎劇情片優選獎、青春影展劇情片優選獎以及螺絲起子國際學生短片競賽銅螺絲獎。
身為一位導演,他具備敏銳的視覺表現力及深刻的敘事能力,擅長以細膩的視覺語言和深入人心的敘事方式,捕捉那些常被忽略的人物與故事,意圖喚起觀眾對社會多元與包容的重視。其作品不僅展現台灣多元文化的獨特性,更希望透過影像傳遞溫情與共鳴,勾勒生活中的微小美好與堅韌。他主張用鏡頭記錄現實,並以藝術性的電影語彙搭建人與人之間的情感橋樑。

Tang Zi-Xian, born in Taiwan in 1997, is currently pursuing a master’s degree in the Department of Motion Picture at the National Taiwan University of Arts, focusing on directing, screenwriting, and cinematography. His film work centers on Taiwan’s distinctive cultural context and marginalized communities.
His works have been selected for multiple prestigious film festivals, including the Pingyao Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon International Film Festival, the Taipei Film Festival, and the Golden Harvest Awards. In addition, he received the Award of Excellence for Narrative Film at the New Taipei City Student Film Awards, the Award of Excellence for Narrative Film at the Youth Film Festival, and the Bronze Screwdriver Award at the Annual Screwdriver International Student Short Film Festival.
As a director, he possesses a keen visual sensibility and a profound storytelling ability. He excels in using delicate visual language and evocative narratives to capture often-overlooked characters and stories, aiming to raise awareness of diversity and inclusivity in society. His works not only highlight the uniqueness of Taiwan’s multicultural landscape but also strive to convey warmth and resonance through film, depicting the subtle beauty and resilience found in everyday life. He advocates documenting reality with the camera while employing an artistic cinematic language to build emotional bridges between people.
